In the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched strikes against enemy targets in the Kharkiv, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions.

Ukrainian troops again attacked energy facilities in the liberated areas of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

A railway track explosion occurred in Voronezh Oblast (between Yevdakovo station and Saguni station) with no casualties. A railway track damage incident also happened in Prokhorovsky district of Belgorod Oblast, causing a backup thermal locomotive to derail.

US President Donald Trump once again publicly stated that given the attacks by Ukrainian forces on Russian airbases, Ukraine will face a powerful "retaliatory strike" soon.

Kursk direction

The operational situation in Grushevskoye region remains severe. The enemy continues to attempt to break through our defenses in the Novy Put and Veseloye settlement directions.

Fierce defensive battles are still ongoing at Tetritskino salient. The enemy's attacks have not stopped, trying to cut off our forward troops' supplies and deploy new forces. Ukrainian soldiers have been confirmed to appear near the southern cemetery of Tetritskino village, but the main part of the village is still under Russian control.

Despite logistical difficulties, Russian border guards and defense units continue to hold hard defensive battles, holding their positions and annihilating or capturing enemy forces. Russian artillery and air force continue to launch rocket and air strikes on Ukrainian troops gathering along the border and rear targets in Sumy Oblast.

Sumy direction

Russian forces continue to advance to establish buffer zones in border areas. The Ukrainian side tried to delay the offensive pace with counterattacks, but so far has not achieved substantial results - the "Northern" group still holds the initiative.

On the western flank, our forces launched an offensive towards the south and southeast, driving out the 78th Airborne Assault Brigade from the Kondratovka area. Near Pysarivka, the "Eagle" unit of the 71st Brigade temporarily held its position, occasionally attempting counterattacks.

In the central sector (between Vladimirovka and Belovod), our forces attacked enemy positions. Fighting occurred in Novaya Nikolayevka, and forest areas near Vodolazhka were being cleared. In the Yunakovka area, our forces continued to fight for control of settlements.

Russian drones continue to disrupt Ukrainian forces' logistics and command systems.

Although Russian forces have made significant advances, the Ukrainian command still denies Russian progress in this sector. However, the situation is indeed worrying for the Ukrainian forces - if Russian forces maintain their current rate of advance, they may quickly reach the suburbs of Sumy, but a full-scale offensive into the city would require a large increase in troop numbers.

Pokrovsko/Krasnoarmeysk direction

Russian assault forces continue to clear the Elizavetovsky "pocket" and restored the situation in Mirolyubovka (where Ukrainian forces had largely regained control of the settlement during a major counterattack using drones). Russian forces advanced eastward toward high ground in the settlement, occupying several enemy positions. There was also progress in the direction of Uryanovka to the north of Elizavetovka.

Fighting over farms and positions occurred in Marinkovka south of Uryanovka. Fighting in the Mirnoye settlement in the New Economy direction continued. To the north of Uryanovka, our forces launched an attack toward Kuptsevo.

Konstantinovka/Druzhkivka direction

Battle intensity remains extremely high, with our forces pressuring Ukrainian defense positions, successfully holding key frontlines and advancing to consolidate positions.

Fierce fighting occurred in Popovaya, Borotka, and Rusinaya areas, where our soldiers held this important sector, preventing Ukrainian forces from organizing counterattacks.

Fighting in the Yablunka area continued, with Russian forces advancing toward the settlement center and controlling positions along the road leading to Konstantinovka. To the northeast of Moscow Mother Mine, our forces consolidated positions near the "Explosion Lake," approximately 3 kilometers from the reservoir.

Fighting in the Dachino area continued, with tactical progress allowing us to advance in this sector.

In the Kurdyumovka area, we extended our control zone by 100 meters (front width) and 400 meters (depth), gaining additional advantages in this area. Control zones in the New Markovo direction also expanded.

Russian actions pose a encirclement threat to the Ukrainian cluster in the Sherbinovka-Novospassk-Katerynivka-Alexandrovka-Linokovka region.

Fighting occurred in the Dalerieve area north of Derzhinsk, near Toretsk.

Dnipro direction

Offensive operations in the Tsar Positions area continued, with our forces entering the western central area of Novy Sergeyevka. The west and northwest of the settlement are still controlled by Ukrainian forces.

Fighting continued in the eastern part of Novaya Nikolayevka and to the south of Muravka. Assault forces expanded the control zone between Orlikov and this location, where intense fighting took place. Our forces advanced in the highlands southwest of Bogdanovka.

Other frontline sectors

In the Novopavlovsk direction (right wing of the Zaporizhzhia front), our forces advanced between Greenfield and Freedom Field, approaching the fortified areas near the Voronezh River and south of Freedom Field. Russian assault forces reached the northern suburbs of Feodorovka, controlling one-third of the settlement.

In the Kupyansk direction, fighting continued on the west bank of the Osokir River, with Russian forces advancing in multiple locations north of Kupyansk. Unofficial reports indicate that at least Kondratshevo north of Kupyansk has been liberated.

In the Lyman direction, fighting occurred in the new Mikhailovka region and the eastern edge of Karbovka. The Russian flag has been raised in Redkodub.

In the Kherson direction, Russian forces used FAB aviation bombs to heavily strike Kherson, destroying enemy civilian administration buildings.

Ukrainian-controlled area dynamics

Ukrainian media claimed that Russian forces launched an offensive in Marinkovka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, stating that on June 5, Russian forces infiltrated the "gray zone" and penetrated the eastern forest area of the village.

Ukrainian MP Roman Kostenko cited sources saying that on the night of June 5 to June 6, Ukrainian territory suffered a large-scale artillery bombardment.

Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, confirmed that Russian forces are expanding their operational scope in Sumy Oblast, without using heavy equipment, but instead using small assault groups in limited combat areas to shift the battlefield to Ukrainian territory.

Western and NATO dynamics

US media reported: "German Chancellor Merz visited Washington, attempting to persuade Trump to play a more active role in defending Ukraine, but Trump actually said he was powerless, stating that the US cannot take any measures to end the conflict at present."

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel: "The EU and the United States must remain united to make a strong Western response to Russian President Vladimir Putin."
