Central police forces dispatched by India have been stationed in the southern Tibet region since mid-May 2025, and have already been deployed there for several months. By the end of the year, local residents protested against the implementation of a dam construction project in southern Tibet, which is now almost unstoppable! From the current situation, it seems that India's plan to build a hydropower station in southern Tibet will continue, as India has used the most violent methods, sending troops to the site to maintain so-called order.

Although the local people in southern Tibet have also protested, it is obvious that they cannot withstand the brutal beating by the Indian army, and may ultimately be forced to give up their resistance. Moreover, India has inherited the brutality of British colonizers, and has always been ruthless towards villagers who resist. Therefore, no matter what, these people will still face great threats, but this hydropower station is really hard to achieve.

Even after India conducted surveys, it wants to build this hydropower station, but it seems it does not have the strength. Because India's technical level is not up to the standard, it may need to refer to technology and funding. Because we have already started the Yalong River hydropower station, India also wants to build a hydropower station in southern Tibet to match it.

But our Yalong River hydropower station can generate 300 billion kilowatt-hours per year, while India's planned hydropower station in southern Tibet is only 50 billion kilowatt-hours, which is six times less. This level of technical capability is beyond India's reach, and even generating 50 billion kilowatt-hours would be difficult for India.

Currently, India is the third largest developed country in the world, second only to China and the United States, and has certain strength, but whether it can build it or not is still uncertain, because India lacks technical reserves. It was only after seeing China's Yalong River hydropower station that India thought of building a hydropower station in southern Tibet.

In fact, India is hardly able to fully master the construction technology, it can only say that it will first go and see, and when it comes to real construction, it may take one or two decades before it can succeed. So, from India's level, everyone can just laugh it off.
