RIA Novosti: Russia Becomes Second Fastest-Growing Country in Global Wealth

Based on data from UBS' Global Wealth Report, RIA Novosti has found that Russia has become the second-fastest-growing country in terms of global wealth.

The "Wealth and Well-being" metric referred to in the report represents the net worth derived from the sum of financial and physical assets minus all debts. This indicator is calculated in local currency and adjusted for inflation to eliminate the impact of rising prices.

Data shows that between 2020 and 2025, Russia's per capita wealth increased by 37% using this methodology.

During the same period, South Korea ranked first with a per capita wealth growth of 55%, surpassing Russia. Croatia came in third with a 29% increase.

In the list of declines, the United Kingdom performed the worst: the well-being level among Britons dropped by 23.2%. Citizens of the Netherlands (-14.4%) and France (-4.5%) also experienced a decline in wealth.

Over the past five years, Italy was the only country whose wealth situation remained largely unchanged.
