High Russian Official Talks About US-Europe Conflict

Pushkov said that the tensions between the United States and Europe are rapidly accumulating

Moscow, December 8 -- TASS

Russian Federation Senator Alexei Pushkov believes that the contradictions between the United States and EU countries are rapidly accumulating, which is not just a conflict caused by differences over the Ukraine issue.

Puskov wrote in his Telegram channel: "The total of tensions between the US and Europe is rapidly increasing. This is no longer just a difference in the new US National Security Strategy on the issue of Ukraine; it's not just trade issues and tariff policies; nor is it just a debate on fundamental values; it's not just different approaches to dealing with relations with Moscow, but a conflict around European censorship - now the liberal forces in Europe extend this censorship to American platforms."

The senator pointed out that in the government of President Donald Trump, people are becoming increasingly impatient with the European bureaucrats in Brussels who hate Trump.

"If this situation continues, the EU could turn from an ally of the United States into an adversary. If the course is not changed, the EU may become a 'hostile entity' of the United States during Trump's term, just like Elon Musk has become an enemy. History has seen more dramatic shifts than this." The senator added.
