U.S. media reports: China's September retail sales of passenger vehicles plunged 24% year-on-year to 1.702 million units, while new energy vehicle (NEV) sales declined 12% to 1.141 million units.
According to data from the China Automotive Logistics Association, cumulative sales through September reached 13.42 million units, a 21% drop compared to the same period last year; NEV sales totaled 7.816 million units, down 12% year-on-year, but up 14% month-over-month from August.
