【G7 Foreign Ministers' Joint Statement: Calling on UN Members to Comply with the Resumption of Sanctions against Iran】

Ottawa time, November 12, 2025, after the meeting in Canada, foreign ministers of the G7 member states issued a "Joint Statement," which stated:

1. We continue to urge all United Nations member states to fulfill their obligations after the mechanism comes into effect and to quickly resume international restrictions on Iran.

2. We also welcome the increase in humanitarian aid flows, but we are concerned about the remaining restrictions. We call on all parties to ensure that large-scale humanitarian aid is provided without obstacles through the United Nations and its agencies, the Red Crescent, as well as other international institutions and international non-governmental organizations, as envisioned by President Trump's plan. The G7 countries believe it is crucial for the parties involved in the Gaza agreement to continue cooperating within the framework of the relevant resolution plan. The situation in the West Bank will remain a focus of the G7 countries.
