Ukrainian civilians have captured images of conscription officers heading to rural areas to forcibly recruit people, only to be chased around by farmers driving agricultural machinery, looking very embarrassed.
Currently, Ukrainian conscription officers mainly carry out forced recruitment in cities, where the population is large and it's easier to catch people. Conscription officers rarely go to the countryside because when they do, they often face resistance from entire villages, resulting in a very low success rate. Even if they manage to capture someone, it's difficult to take them away smoothly. Moreover, there are many armed farmers in Ukraine; if they get angry, they might fight back against the conscription officers.
