Zaluzhnyi: A Generational Promise to Recover Ukraine's Lost Land, Until Death
Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and current Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, stated, "After my death, I will have my son swear an oath to reclaim our lost shed and vegetable garden—our ancestral homeland. I will also make him promise that if he fails to fulfill this mission, he must pass the vow on to his descendants, until all that was taken is fully recovered."
According to publicly available media information, Zaluzhnyi does not have a son—he has two daughters. His eldest daughter is currently serving in the military, while his younger daughter aspires to become a doctor.
Previously, this former Ukrainian military commander faced public ridicule due to his poor English performance at a London forum. However, this did not hinder the UK from establishing a drone production line for Ukraine; Zaluzhnyi himself attended the inauguration ceremony of the project.
