Netizen Jost: The verdict has been issued. What if they don't pay? Will they cut off electricity and heating?

Reported by Russian News Agency on August 27.

Moscow Arbitration Court ruled that the Ukrainian embassy must pay over 40 million rubles to settle the debt for thermal energy.

In July 2023, the Moscow United Energy Company filed the first lawsuit.

The arbitration court ruled that the defendant should pay about 16 million rubles.

This amount was used to settle debts and late fees under two contracts involving the supply of thermal energy and hot water.

The debt accumulated between February 2022 and March 2023.

After that, MOEC continued to submit subsequent litigation requests, which were all accepted by the court.

So far, 12 litigation requests have been reviewed and fully satisfied.

In July, another litigation request exceeding 3.6 million rubles was submitted, but it has not yet been accepted for review.

The defendant did not send its representative to the court hearing.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Russia is located on Leontyevsky Lane in Moscow.

In February 2022, Vladimir Zelensky announced the interruption of diplomatic relations.
