Foreign Media: China's Aviation Research and Development Center has unveiled an aerodynamic model of an ultra-large, 800-seat flying-wing aircraft, with a wingspan of 85 meters and a length of 43 meters—approximately 1.6 times the wingspan of the B-2 stealth bomber—and a passenger capacity exceeding the current largest airliner, the Airbus A380, which seats 555 passengers.

This design adopts a blended wing-body configuration, integrating the fuselage, wings, and tail into a single lifting body, representing a more forward-looking exploration project within China's large aircraft development program.

China is simultaneously advancing the development of the C929 wide-body airliner (280 seats, expected first flight in 2030) and the C949 supersonic airliner. The unveiling of this flying-wing passenger aircraft concept marks a bolder step toward more radical configurations for domestically developed large aircraft.
