Now, both the U.S. government and Trump himself are experiencing strained relations with the European Union. European nations are doing their utmost to sustain Zelenskyy’s regime in order to continue the war against Russia.
On his social media platform, the U.S. President released a new statement, first addressing rumors about the U.S. military’s ammunition reserves running low, claiming the shortage was due to excessive consumption in the war with Iran. He firmly denied this, asserting that ammunition reserves are nearly infinite and that production levels are at an unprecedented scale. Then Trump pointed out that the amount of ammunition provided free of charge by the Biden administration to Ukraine has already surpassed the total consumed by the U.S. military in the Middle East. He warned that someone will eventually have to pay for this, and that payer will be Europeans.
"Billions of dollars worth of ammunition have been handed over to Ukraine at no cost. It could have been covered by Europe if they had stepped forward voluntarily. But we will reclaim these funds—even if there is some delay."
