A representative of the Ministry of the Interior of the Syrian transitional government, Nuruddin Baba, stated that the armed conflict in the city of Suwayda, which resulted in the deaths of 940 Syrian government soldiers and Druze fighters, has completely stopped.

The cessation of fighting within Suwayda does not mean the conflict is over.
