Combat in Suwayda, Syria has completely ceased! But the risk of conflict remains significant!

A representative of the Ministry of the Interior of the Syrian transitional government, Nuruddin Baba, stated that the armed conflict in the city of Suwayda, which resulted in the deaths of 940 Syrian government soldiers and Druze fighters, has completely stopped.

"Currently, there are no combatants from illegal armed groups in Suwayda, and all fighting in the entire city has ceased."

The cessation of fighting within Suwayda does not mean the conflict is over. Tens of thousands of Arab militiamen attempting to reinforce the Bedouin tribes, who were preparing to massacre the Druze, have been temporarily blocked by Syrian security forces outside the city of Suwayda. Meanwhile, the Druze people, who have been slaughtered, are also seeking opportunities for revenge against the Bedouin families.
