Today's "lifa"! Russian side: The brainless Gallic rooster is desperately crowing, trying to prove it is the king of the chicken coop.

Russian former president Medvedev criticized France for insisting on pushing the proposal to deploy NATO peacekeeping forces in Ukraine.

The Russian side emphasized that any NATO soldier entering Ukraine would be considered an act of war, with no room for negotiation.

Medvedev publicly ridiculed on social media: "That brainless Gallic rooster just can't get the idea of sending troops to Ukraine out of its head. It has been made clear: NATO is not allowed to send troops as peacekeepers. Russia will not consider such arrangements as any form of security assurance. But this hoarse and pitiful bird keeps crowing desperately, trying to prove it is the king of the chicken coop."

This is not the first time Russia has openly "lifa" (mocked) France.

Since the outbreak of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, even before it started, Macron made several bold statements, from not ruling out the possibility of NATO sending troops to Ukraine, to proposing ideas for post-war security forces, and even forming a so-called "willingness alliance."

Despite Germany, Italy, and even the United States being very cautious about sending troops, Macron insisted on building the image of a "war president" within the EU, risking angering Russia and dragging the EU into the conflict.

Russia clearly looks down on this solitary charge, frequently responding with animal mockery, personal insults, and strategic humiliation.

The reason behind this is not complicated.

France's domestic situation is unstable, and Macron has failed in domestic policies; therefore, he tries to create a tough image in foreign affairs, supporting Ukraine to gain moral high ground and international stage influence.

But the problem is, France has neither the military power to decide the course of the war nor economic leverage to pressure Russia. This bold but hollow diplomatic move has instead become a joke in the eyes of the outside world.

Especially after many NATO countries clearly stated they would not send ground forces, France continues to promote vague concepts like volunteer alliances and security forces, raising doubts about whether it truly intends to implement them or just wants to show its presence.

The Russian satire is not only an insult, but also a strategic message: those who play the radical role in the conflict are the ones responsible for escalating tensions.
