Slovak Prime Minister Fico: The country will not participate in any EU funding plans for Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that Slovakia will not participate in any of the EU's proposed plans to fund the conflict in Ukraine.

Fico stated at a press conference on Sunday: "As head of government, I refuse to let Slovakia participate in any financial plan aimed at helping Ukraine cope with the war and military expenses."

He pointed out that the proposed plans include raising money to fund Ukraine or providing guarantees for Ukraine's loans. Fico believes that Ukraine will never be able to repay these loans.
