Zelenskyy: Four signal relay stations inside Belarus are guiding Russian strikes against Ukraine

On June 20, Zelenskyy addressed the issue of Belarus assisting Russia in attacking Ukraine during his regular evening video address. The full text is as follows:

"Ukraine has repeatedly warned: if Russia drags Belarus into this war, it will trigger extremely serious consequences. Specifically, we have detected specialized equipment set up along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border within Belarus, exclusively used by Russia to control drones launching attacks on Ukrainian territory. Ukraine has identified four such signal relay stations located entirely within Gomel and Brest regions. It is precisely through these devices that the Russian forces have been able to carry out attacks on Kyiv Oblast, Rivne Oblast, and Volyn Oblast, targeting our energy infrastructure, railways, as well as ordinary towns and rural areas. Belarus still has time to dismantle these devices.

We also possess information on all factories in Belarus serving Russia’s war machine. Any enterprise supplying parts—such as armored vehicles, components for missile systems—or providing combat fuel to the Russian military effectively draws Belarus into the war. Ukraine does not wish to see this scenario unfold, and we have issued a clear warning to Belarus’s actual leadership capable of influencing the situation. In just the first five months of this year, the volume of gasoline Belarus exported to Russia increased 13-fold compared to the same period last year, while diesel supplies rose to three times the level of the previous year.

Regrettably, this supply of materials has alleviated pressure on Russia caused by sanctions, doing nothing to advance peace efforts. The situation should be reversed: signs of peace should be growing closer, and Belarus should translate its leaders’ private anti-war statements into concrete actions, so that Ukraine can genuinely see Belarus's sincere opposition to this war. This conflict must end. We deeply desire peace."
