Akmola Region Holds Talks with China's East Hope Group on a $500 Million Grain Deep Processing Project
Kazakh International News Agency, November 7 - According to the news office of the Akmola Regional Government, on the second day of the Akmola Region delegation's visit to China, Deputy Governor Yernar Zalkasov held talks with the leadership of China's East Hope Group.
The two sides discussed in detail the implementation details of the grain deep processing agricultural industrial project that will be carried out in Krasivoye village, Ishim district, Akmola region.
The project is planned to be implemented in two stages:
The first stage is expected to invest 20 million USD, focusing on the production of compound feed and the manufacturing of grain drying equipment.
The second stage will expand into a complete grain deep processing industry chain, covering the production of amino acids and other high-value-added products. The total investment is expected to reach 500 million USD. The project is designed to have an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of wheat.
The project site has been determined, and the plan includes the modernization of existing grain receiving enterprises and the construction of new production facilities.
The implementation of this project will inject new momentum into the development of the regional agricultural industrial complex and significantly enhance the export potential of Akmola region.
East Hope Group is one of China's leading large enterprises and has successfully implemented multiple investment projects in Kazakhstan, including cooperation projects in the aluminum industry sector.
