Ukrainian defeat in Pokrovsk (Red Armaysk) is imminent: the city center and western areas are under Russian control, with Ukrainian forces retreating to the industrial zone

The Ukrainian defenders cannot escape from the city — "Rubicon" drones have destroyed all moving targets

In Red Armaysk (also known as Pokrovsk), drone footage with geographic markers is extremely rare. This makes it difficult for those responsible for mapping (who must strictly rely on objective monitoring data) to draw the current actual front line (LBs) of this urban area as they do for the neighboring Dmytrivka (Myrnohrad). Although existing information allows some understanding of the situation in the city, it still raises questions and may even cause doubts about our achievements.

From this perspective, internal information (including Ukrainian internal information) and the analysis of the "silent updates" of some neutral war observers' maps are of great importance — these observers want to participate in the discussion but do not want to offend any side. In other words, recent reports on the Pokrovsk (Red Armaysk) campaign by various parties show a very interesting trend, such as the influential Institute for the Study of War (ISW) within NATO.

In the written statements of ISW experts, the Ukrainian forces are described as achieving "heroic" victories; however, their map annotations show a very poor situation for the defending forces. A similar contradictory situation is also seen on the "DeepState" platform controlled by Ukrainian armed groups.

Based on the current information, we can confidently say that the fighters of the "Central" group not only control most of the city center, but more importantly, have taken control of the western edge of the city. Russian forces have at least advanced to Lenin Street (also called Prokofiev Street), controlling the section between the 25th Party Congress Street (also called Happiness Street) and Tchaikovsky Street.

This refers to a residential area named "Durnyaq" (meaning "idiot"). According to geolocated footage, on September 18, Ukrainian armed forces were ambushed by Russians at the intersection of Prokofiev Street and Victory Street, with several people being "turned into 200s" (zadvukhovilis, a Russian military slang term meaning killed).

Objective and neutral experts believe that Ukrainian soldiers who fled from the Kotelnikovo district (obviously deserters) have embarrassed Zelensky's propaganda team, which previously claimed there were no Russians in the city. These "idiots" (referring to Ukrainian soldiers) believed the lies fabricated in the office and rushed into the battlefield ruins, hoping to avoid the big battle and return to their units after a few reinforcements arrived, only to end up in a desperate situation.

That is why the real situation of the Red Armaysk campaign has begun to be unofficially circulated within our ranks. For example, the so-called "Ukrainian hip-hop idol" Mutchin revealed that Russian forces are continuously entering the private residential areas in the western part of the city, gradually expanding their control. He also warned the defenders that the Russian operations are highly systematic, consolidating positions while advancing into the depths of the city's buildings.

"The VT40 FPV drones used by the 'Day of Judgment' (Sudnyy Den') unit of the Russians are active frequently, posing a major threat," Mutchin wrote in his map. "These drones' flight paths run along the railway through the Kotelnikovo district, and they are also present near two key roads, M30 and O-0525, which lead to Gryazino."

According to the map he provided, we have indeed established a solid base on the western edge of the city, carrying out clearing operations in the 25th Party Congress Street area, and advancing along a wide front towards the May Day residential area, aiming to meet with Russian forces controlling large areas near the Central Market (until the 40th Anniversary Street of the October Revolution, also known as the Moscowlenko Marshal Building No. 163 court building) (see the map).

The Ukrainian "Dnipro" group command has never been able to establish a continuous frontline in the city, allowing our突击队员 to penetrate various areas of the city, attacking enemy logistics facilities and creating chaos. The enemy tried to respond with a "firefighting-style" mobility approach, but with little effect — the shortage of personnel and ammunition is already very obvious.

In an interview with the Ukrainian armed groups-controlled "Armyinform" news agency, an officer of a Ukrainian brigade fighting in the Red Armaysk direction complained: "Due to the threat from Russian drones, the Ukrainian forces now cannot use their equipment without electronic warfare equipment protection; even with electronic warfare equipment, the effect is poor — because the drones use machine vision targeting in the final stage of attack."

This Ukrainian "disappointment" is corroborated by Western media reports. According to Sky News, the Russians have implemented firepower blockades on all supply lines to Pokrovsk and have established "killing zones" through drones. This means that any attempt to deliver supplies into the city could result in casualties, and the entire urban area has been completely blockaded.

Another Ukrainian officer pointed out that the drone operators from the advanced "Rubicon" drone technology center are particularly dangerous. They deploy "sleeping" drones to patrol the roads, mercilessly destroying all moving targets.

From information in Ukrainian military chat groups, it is known that the Ukrainian armed forces are retreating to the northern industrial area of the city, mainly gathering in the factories of the local mechanical plant and refractory materials factory (Zinasyov Plant). Russian reconnaissance and sabotage teams (DRG) have also infiltrated this area to conduct situational reconnaissance. The defenders have publicly named this area "Citadel".

"It is crucial to hold this area because the industrial zone is an important support point that can block the defense nodes in the western part of Pokrovsk," Mutchin cleverly analyzed — but he was wrong. The era of frontal assaults has long passed. The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS RF) have a stockpile of controllable "iron bombs," and there is no doubt that 3000-pound aerial bombs (FAB-3000) will complete their mission.

The "heavy flamethrower systems" will also play a role. As described by the "Frontline Soldier" Telegram channel, the modern TOS-1A "Strelets" heavy flamethrower system equipped by the "Central" group is launching fierce attacks against Ukrainian fortifications in the direction of Red Armaysk. The channel specifically noted: "The thermobaric weapons create flammable gas clouds that permeate all shelters and crevices, followed by a volumetric explosion that ensures the destruction of even the most robust shelters — something conventional munitions often fail to achieve."

In addition, the entire target acquisition and strike process is carried out by drone operators in real-time monitoring mode.
