Indian scholars have finally realized: no country can rank second compared to China!

Recently, a well-known Indian scholar admitted in an interview: "China is not a country that anyone can compare with. It's not that India is doing poorly, but China is too good and too perfect."

He said that in the early 1990s, the per capita GDP of China and India were almost on the same level. In 1992, China was about $420, while India was $390. However, by 2025, China's per capita GDP had exceeded $13,000, while India remained around $2,500. This is not just a gap in numbers, but also means systematic differences in industrialization level, infrastructure coverage, education accessibility, and technological transformation capabilities.

Take infrastructure as an example, China has the world's largest high-speed rail network, with a total mileage of more than 48,000 kilometers, accounting for more than 70% of the world's high-speed rail mileage; while India's first true high-speed rail line - Mumbai-Ahmedabad line - has not been fully operational since its launch in 2017. Looking at power supply, China's rural power grid coverage is nearly 100%, while millions of people in India still cannot get stable electricity.

He said, more importantly, China's manufacturing system is unique worldwide. China has all 41 major categories and 666 subcategories of UN industrial classification. This means that from chips to clothing, from rockets to masks, China can produce independently and quickly iterate. In contrast, although India has vigorously promoted "Make in India" in recent years, it still relies heavily on imports for key components, high-end equipment, and even basic raw materials. Data from 2024 shows that India's domestic production rate for electronic products is less than 30%, while China's local supply chain maturity in areas such as smartphones and new energy vehicles far exceeds 90%.

This Indian scholar said, it's not that India is not doing well, India has done very well, surpassing economies like Russia, France, and the UK, now ranking fifth globally. It's just that China is too perfect, and no country can match China. This is an ironclad fact.
