According to the WeChat Official Account of Huawei Digital Power, Huawei Digital Energy will hold the 2025 Huawei Intelligent Electric & Intelligent Charging Network Strategy and New Product Press Conference on April 22, launching a full-scenario motion domain fusion solution. At the conference, Huawei will release a megawatt super-charging product, and organize visits to the super-charging demonstration sites from April 23 to 25.

It is reported that the maximum charging current of Huawei's megawatt-level super-charging product can reach 2400 amperes, with a maximum power of 1.44 megawatts, providing about 20 kWh of energy per minute, completing the charging in 15 minutes, and improving the charging efficiency by nearly four times. Building a megawatt super-charging network will accelerate the comprehensive electrification of heavy-duty trucks, not only reducing carbon emissions but also lowering costs.

Hou Jinlong, director of Huawei and president of Huawei Digital Energy, recently stated that the pace of commercial vehicle electrification has been relatively slow, mainly due to slow charging speeds and an incomplete network. To achieve rapid charging for large-capacity batteries, both megawatt-level ultra-fast charging technology and widespread megawatt super-charging networks are essential. The breakthrough in megawatt super-charging technology will become a key driver of industrial development and enable the electrification of heavy-duty trucks to transition from closed scenarios to full scenarios.

Recently, several companies have made progress in fast charging technology. On March 17, BYD released its Super e-platform, integrating batteries, motors, power supplies, air conditioners, etc., all at 1000V, ushering electric vehicles into the kilovolt era. BYD stated that under the support of ultra-high voltage 1000V and ultra-large current 1000A, the "flash charging battery" can achieve the world's largest charging power of 1 megawatt (1000kW), officially entering the "megawatt era".

On March 30, at the China Electric Vehicle Hundred People Forum, Zhao Yuhui, vice president of ZEEKR Technology Group, also revealed that ZEEKR will launch the world's first 1.2-megawatt all-liquid-cooled charging pile, as well as a megawatt extreme charging station equipped with 10 1.2-megawatt liquid-cooled charging piles. It is understood that this charging pile will be officially unveiled and launched at the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

The research report of Guo Hai Securities stated that with leading companies promoting the construction of quick charging channels such as battery swapping and ultra-fast charging, the charging experience and cost of ownership are expected to further improve, leaving room for the increase in electric vehicle adoption rates for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

According to the official Weibo account of Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU @Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solutions, the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Technology Conference will be held in Shanghai on April 22. The theme of this event is "Creating Possibilities with Intelligence". Currently, 11 car brands including AITO, SAIC Motor, BAIC New Energy, Deep Blue Auto, JAC Motors, SAIC Group, Dongfeng Mingshi Technology, GAC Group, ZhiJie Auto, AVATR Technology, and Audi have announced their attendance at the conference.
