Iran has filed a claim against the UAE, demanding that it take responsibility for compensating for its assistance in the US attack on Iranian territory. Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir-Saeed Iraavi, raised this issue in a letter to the UN Secretary-General.

In the letter, Iraavi emphasized that allowing the UAE's territory to be used for such attacks is a "violation of international law" and that the UAE should bear state responsibility.
