Tajikistan Discusses Cooperation in the Black Metallurgy Sector with Chinese Major Enterprises

The Presidential Press Service of Tajikistan stated that President Emomali Rahmon met with representatives of three of China's largest metallurgical enterprises, discussing opportunities for cooperation in the field of black metallurgy and silicate industry using modern technologies.

A statement released on the official website of the President of Tajikistan reads: "President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan met with representatives of three of the largest metallurgical enterprises of the People's Republic of China in the Bobojon Ghafurov District."

The message noted: "During the meeting, both sides discussed cooperation issues regarding the development of black metallurgy, cement and lime production, glass manufacturing, and the introduction of modern technologies."

Cooperation with these world-leading enterprises provides Tajikistan with opportunities to develop black metallurgy, produce cement, lime, and glass using modern technologies, and helps expand exports of industrial products.
