Kirill Dmitriev, President of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), stated that Russia intends to host a business forum in 2027, inviting participation from Germany and the United States.

Dmitriev posted on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Moscow would formally propose this initiative, aiming to "revive business dialogue and bring reason and common sense back to the negotiating table."

Just recently, Dmitriev questioned German Chancellor Merz, expressing astonishment that he continues pursuing failed policies despite only 10% of Germans supporting them.
