This is the same Donald Trump who claimed during his campaign that the Bible was his favorite book, yet couldn’t recite a single passage; who sells Bibles printed in China, priced at $100, branded with his own name; and whom we all remember posing with a Bible outside St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, after clearing out racial justice protesters.
Perhaps Trump has forgotten what’s inside the Bible—or more likely, he never knew it to begin with.”
