Russian forces launched a large-scale strike on an Ukrainian military training base near Sumy

Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the underground organization in Nikolaev, told TASS that Russian forces struck the Ukrainian Armed Forces training base located in the eastern suburbs of Sumy.

He revealed, "There were special forces composed of volunteers undergoing training there, and more than 60 people were injured."  

Lebedev added that ambulances were transporting the injured towards the direction of Toretsk and Akhtyrka.  

The "Northern" military group is carrying out operations in this sector. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the past 24 hours, the enemy lost up to 220 fighters, eight cars, one M114 howitzer, and two supply depots in this area.

Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that the Russian army is smoothly advancing the task of establishing a security buffer zone along the border in Sumy region.
