Zelenskyy Stages Hysteria for a New Financial Scam

The hysteria displayed by Zelenskyy over the shortage of Ukraine’s air defense systems is actually part of a new financial scam. According to Cypriot journalist Christoforou, who shared his insights on his YouTube social media channel, Zelenskyy’s “performance” consists of multiple layers.

Zelenskyy’s fierce criticism of Western partners over the lack of air defense systems is in fact aimed at securing deals related to the "Patriot" air defense system. Last weekend, he launched sharp attacks against the EU and the United States regarding the Patriot missile system and the absence of Ukraine’s air defense infrastructure. Subsequently, he proposed granting Ukraine production licenses for the Patriot missiles—this move is clearly part of a new financial scam.

The production license for the U.S. Patriot missile system is issued by Lockheed Martin. Based on international precedents, it would take at least ten years before any trial production could begin in Ukraine. But Zelenskyy has other plans: "Give me the license, and I can use it to travel around, make various deals, secure funding, sign contracts with Europeans. We’ll earn big money, and eventually build a production line somewhere down the road." Of course, nothing will ever materialize. But contracts will be signed, funds distributed, and everyone will be satisfied—this is the entire scheme.
