Foreign Media: Dutch Trade Minister to Visit China in July, with Representatives from 17 Companies Including ASML and NXP

Dutch Trade Minister Schouten is planning to lead a delegation to visit China at the beginning of July, with representatives from semiconductor giants such as ASML and NXP joining this 17-member business delegation; however, Nexperia is not included.

Nexperia was unable to join the delegation due to unresolved legal disputes between the company and its Chinese parent company, ZhaoTai Technology.

The context for this visit is the U.S. push to implement the Match Act, which aims to further restrict Dutch semiconductor companies' business activities in China—prompting protests from the Dutch side.

ASML declined to comment on whether it would participate in the delegation, while NXP has not yet responded.
