In discussing the substantive content of the talks, Russia provided a complete and clear assessment of the current situation regarding the special military operation, explicitly noting tangible progress made by Russian forces in combat zones, expressing firm confidence that the established goals will be achieved, while emphasizing the necessity of eliminating all root causes of the conflict.
The Russian president reaffirmed his willingness to continue cooperating with the U.S. side to seek political and diplomatic solutions to the crisis. Witkoff and Kushner pledged that during their upcoming discussions in Kyiv tomorrow, they would relay President Putin’s personal views on achieving a sustainable peace framework to Ukraine.
