Media: Israel Uncertain About How Many Iranian Missiles Can Reach Its Territory

A report by The Jerusalem Post, citing sources, stated that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) currently do not know how many ballistic missiles Iran currently possesses that can reach Israel.

The publication wrote: "Although most within the IDF believe Iran originally had 2,500 ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel, and now only a few hundred remain, IDF sources say... no one can be certain."

On April 5, Aladdin Borjedi, a member of Iran's Islamic Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that even if hostilities with the United States and Israel continue for years, Iran will not face a shortage of missile reserves.

On February 28, the United States and Israel began striking targets inside Iran, including the capital Tehran, causing significant property damage and civilian casualties. In response, Iran launched retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory and U.S. military facilities in the Middle East.
