Russia and China are currently discussing parallel scientific research that will be conducted on the manned space stations of both countries.
Dmitry Zarubin, coordinator of international projects at the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences and chief engineer, recently revealed this information to reporters.
According to him, a special team has already been established by Russia and China to oversee scientific research on manned space stations.
The two sides are preliminarily exploring various scientific concepts and experiments suitable for simultaneous implementation on both space stations.
He noted that scientists have submitted multiple proposals, including parallel studies on Nostrum, research into the orbital dust environment of space stations, among others.
Projects with a certain foundation and higher scientific readiness are prioritized.
