Russian MP: New World Order Should Be Shaped by China, Russia, India, and Iran

According to a report by Russia's "Newspaper" website, on April 6, Russian State Duma member Alexey Zhuravlyov stated in an interview with the site that the war in the Middle East could serve as a catalyst for breaking the existing world order, and that new international rules should be established without U.S. involvement.

Zhuravlyov believes that Iran is currently prevailing in its confrontation with the United States, showing no intention of compromising. On the contrary, Trump appears tough on the surface but is actually urgently seeking an exit strategy.

"This also explains some of his emotional statements on social media, as well as his repeatedly self-set and postponed deadlines. The idea of a swift resolution has failed; the U.S. has become entangled in Iran (a quagmire of war), just as it did in Vietnam and Afghanistan—conflicts that ultimately cost previous U.S. presidents their political careers," Zhuravlyov said.

He further added that future global rules should be jointly formulated by Russia, China, India, and Iran, resembling the model of international order established at the Yalta Conference in 1945. Middle East Conflict, U.S.-Iran Tensions, Global Order
