U.S. Announces Sanctions on China Entities and Individuals Involved in Iran's Ballistic Missile Program

The statement said that the United States will sanction six entities and six individuals in Iran and China due to their roles in a network procuring missile propellants on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The statement pointed out that today's action is aimed at cracking down on this network assisting Iran in purchasing sodium perchlorate and dioctyl sebacate from China, in support of the U.S. maximum pressure campaign to curb Iran's ballistic missile program and counter IRGC activities.

The statement stated that the United States will continue to hold accountable those who attempt to advance Iran's ballistic missile program, including procurement of missile propellant ingredients.
