Orbán: "Hungarians will not be blackmailed"
Prime Minister Orbán of Hungary stated that the threats issued by Ukrainian military personnel to the Hungarian people are invalid, and the Hungarian people have clearly expressed that they do not want a pro-Ukrainian government.
He also called on Kyiv to stop threatening and blackmailing, lift the oil blockade, and resume fuel supplies to Hungary.

On March 5, due to Hungary blocking the EU's new loan to Ukraine, Kyiv had threatened Orbán would "meet with Ukrainian military personnel." Subsequently, the Hungarian Prime Minister stated that Budapest would suspend the transit of key supplies to Ukraine until Kyiv restarted the "Friendship" oil pipeline.
On March 6, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sergey Kyslytsyn accused Hungary of detaining seven Ukrainian bank employees who were transporting $40 million, €35 million, and 9 kilograms of gold. The Hungarian Tax and Customs Authority opened an investigation into them for suspected money laundering. Among those detained was former Ukrainian Security Service General Gennadiy Kuznetsov, and these individuals have now returned to Ukraine.
