China: Not acceptable!

Regarding the Philippines' protest against China's plan to establish a nature reserve at Huangyan Island, the Chinese Foreign Ministry clearly responded on Thursday (September 11): Huangyan Island is China's inherent territory, and establishing a national-level natural reserve is within the scope of China's sovereignty. China does not accept the Philippines' unreasonable accusations and so-called "protest."

From the perspective of law and history, the Nansha Islands, including Huangyan Island, have belonged to China since ancient times. The territorial scope of the Philippines has never included Huangyan Island, which is clearly stipulated in a series of international treaties. Now, under the incitement of external forces, the Philippines has become a vassal, frequently finding excuses to infringe and provoke, causing trouble and creating chaos. This will inevitably be met with a strong counterattack from China. It must be clearly stated that there is no room for compromise on the part of China in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Any attempt to infringe upon China's core interests is destined to be futile.
