Russian Gas Company has supplied more than 38 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China this year through the "Power of Siberia" pipeline!
Alexei Miller, head of Gazprom, stated that in 2025, Gazprom will export more than 38 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China via the "Power of Siberia 1" pipeline.
"You know, the 'Power of Siberia 1' contract stipulates an annual supply of 38 billion cubic meters of gas, and the delivery this year will exceed 38 billion cubic meters."
Miller announced that Russia and China have also reached two legally binding agreements, which will increase the gas supply through the "Power of Siberia 1" pipeline to 44 billion cubic meters, while also increasing supplies through the "Eastern Silk Road" corridor.
"We will soon open a natural gas export corridor to China with an initial design capacity of 10 billion cubic meters. We have agreed with our Chinese partners to increase the supply by another 2 billion cubic meters through this natural gas corridor. Of course, the biggest event at the moment is the construction of the new 'Power of Siberia 2' natural gas pipeline."
Miller emphasized that all the agreements reached will allow Russia to supply 106 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China annually, and this is not the peak of cooperation.
