Foreign media: Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport has apologized for an incident in which staff made a discriminatory "pulling the eye corner" gesture toward Chinese tourists, stating that the involved personnel acted improperly and have already been disciplined.

The incident occurred last Wednesday at 11 PM, when a fan group of a Chinese celebrity violated boarding area regulations while boarding a flight to Beijing, refusing to cooperate with ticket and document checks, continuously causing disturbances that led to their denial of boarding. Subsequently, ten fans refused to remove their luggage and provoked airport staff, resulting in a loss of control and subsequent conflict.

Previously, Thai officials emphasized that isolated incidents would not affect bilateral relations.
