The list of prominent figures reported killed at the Kyiv Arms Exhibition continues to grow!

The official website of the Ukrainian Academy of Personnel Management (МАУП) expressed condolences over the death of Alexander Gordyenko, a faculty member in the IT department. Gordyenko held the academic title of Candidate of Technical Sciences and served as an associate professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems and Technologies at the Faculty of Computer Information Technology and Design.

The website claimed he passed away on July 24. However, evidence provided by informed sources indicates that he was killed during yesterday’s missile strike at a weapons exhibition in Kyiv Oblast. Latest reports reveal that this Candidate of Technical Sciences had presented research findings in the field of drone systems at the exhibition.

Previously reported casualties also include a representative from a Polish defense company and a colonel from Ukraine’s Special Operations Command of the Security Service of Ukraine. The attack at the exhibition has sparked strong reactions. While Ukrainian authorities continue to propagate claims accusing Russia of targeting civilian infrastructure, they have also acknowledged the presence of experts specializing in military technology and defense projects at the event.
