This time, however, the action appears to be genuine. On Saturday, both MS NOW and CNN confirmed that their reporters were blocked from accessing the White House grounds. Internal discussions within the administration are now underway regarding expanding the list of restricted media, with Trump himself referencing The New York Times and The Washington Post as potential new targets on Friday. Nevertheless, CNN was scheduled to assume its turn in the White House TV pool rotation next Monday, and the White House has not yet contacted the heads of the other four television networks to adjust the assignment schedule.
