The President of Russian Direct Investment Fund Announces Three New Cooperation Projects with China

Kirill Dmitriev, President of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President of Russia on Foreign Economic and Investment Cooperation, stated that RDIF has already implemented over 50 major joint projects with Chinese partners, with a total investment exceeding 800 billion rubles, and plans to announce three new significant cooperation initiatives with China.

Dmitriev explained that the first cooperation project pertains to the satellite sector.

"Production, launch of satellites, and other projects in the aerospace industry. The second project involves joint investments with member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," Dmitriev said.

He noted that several joint funds have already been established within the SCO framework, and RDIF intends to cooperate with these funds.

Dmitriev said another agreement reached concerns infrastructure development, to be carried out in collaboration with a leading Chinese construction company. He emphasized, "This cooperation will involve implementing complex, comprehensive Russia-China infrastructure projects."

Dmitriev also mentioned that during Putin's visit to Beijing, RDIF expanded its cooperation through the signing of new agreements.

Previously, Dmitriev had stated that Russia and China enjoy a comprehensive investment partnership.
