The EU is preparing to take action against Turkey
The European Parliament has passed a resolution limiting Turkey's future involvement in EU defense projects. Prior to this, French President Macron even encouraged Greece to confront Turkey directly.
It seems the EU truly is ready to act against Turkey. With the Russia-Ukraine conflict dragging on and the EU unable to extricate itself, years of investment have left the EU needing to find a country to "recoup losses"—and Turkey fits the bill perfectly. Moreover, the United States is expected to support such a move.
