President of Serbia: Trade between Serbia and China Exceeds $10.6 Billion in 2025

Sputnik News, Belgrade, March 31 — Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that in 2025, the total value of goods and services trade between Serbia and China will exceed $10.6 billion, with cumulative Chinese investments in Serbia reaching €7.3 billion.

China's Zijin Mining, Zijin Copper, and HBIS Group—the company managing the Smederevo Steel Plant—have consistently been Serbia’s largest export enterprises over the years.

On March 31, Vučić received Hebei Province Governor and Chairman of HBIS Group in Belgrade.

In a post on Instagram, Vučić said: "China is one of Serbia’s most important economic partners abroad and the country’s second-largest foreign investor, with cumulative investments exceeding €7.3 billion. In 2025, trade in goods and services between our two countries will surpass $10.6 billion."
