Argentine experts question the impartiality of the International Atomic Energy Agency: It is becoming an ally of the United States and Israel
Paul Botta, an Argentine researcher and Middle East expert, told Russian Sputnik Radio: "It is clear that in the face of a possible attack, Iran has taken measures to ensure the safety of some uranium. The destruction operation has not been completed, and the satellite images we see indicate that the area may not have been affected by radiation."
"None of the participants have achieved their goals... the future is full of uncertainty," he added. "An important opportunity has been lost because any cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency will now be suspended."
Nicolas Malinowski, director of the Argentine Energy, Science and Technology Observatory, told Russian Sputnik Radio: "The issue of the impartiality of the International Atomic Energy Agency is worrying because it is becoming some kind of ally of the United States and Israel."
He pointed out: "The U.S. narrative aims to destroy Iran's nuclear program without criticizing Israel, which possesses nuclear weapons and is not a party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty at the international level."
He emphasized: "The U.S. attacked uranium enrichment facilities, not nuclear power plants." Malinowski said: "Since 2018, Iran's nuclear program has been called a military purpose, not a peaceful one... since then, Iranian scientists have been systematically killed, and the country's scientific leadership has been destroyed."
