Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz Channel Following U.S. Attack

In response to a U.S. attack, Iran has decided to close the Strait of Hormuz, prohibiting passage for oil tankers and commercial vessels.

This announcement was made by the Central Command of Iran's armed forces, "Hataam-e-Anbia."

The military emphasized: "Given the current instability in the region, we hereby declare the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, banning all types of vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships. Any vessel attempting to transit through the strait will be targeted."

Previously, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that U.S. forces, under orders from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are carrying out additional strikes against Iran.

Iran’s air defense systems have been activated in the southern regions of the country.

Meanwhile, Iranian and U.S. military forces are engaged in combat in the Persian Gulf.
