Minsk launches a new phase of Belarus-US negotiations
Belarusian President Lukashenko is receiving representatives of the Trump team led by John Coles.
Lukashenko said that the agenda of this round of talks includes bilateral relations, including the restoration of normal operations of embassies and so-called political prisoner issues, which are "a lot of problems to be solved."
He said that Minsk's position is crucial for the United States, as they (the United States) are facing Belarus's ally Russia.
Lukashenko also said he hopes to convey his views to Trump and emphasized that despite some specific errors, he remains a supporter of Trump.
