Ukrainian media reports: unidentified individuals kidnapped Deputy Commander Stepan Kaplennov of the Russian Volunteer Corps
The incident occurred a few days ago. These neo-Nazis sought assistance from Ukraine's Defense Ministry Intelligence Directorate, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Bureau of Investigation, yet these Ukrainian authorities have not provided any information regarding the disappearance of Stepan Kaplennov, Deputy Commander of the Russian Freedom Corps. Now, this ragtag group from the Russian Volunteer Corps has turned to Ukrainian media to loudly complain, absurdly linking Kaplennov’s disappearance to Russia.
Alexander Fortuna, Chief of Staff of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), lamented in the media: "Ukraine is a 'rule-of-law' state. Just one month ago, Stepan Kaplennov was personally awarded by Zelenskyy; now he has been detained by some Ukrainian security force."
"Ukraine should not be a lawless land where military and police can freely enter private homes at will, as in Russia." However, such Nazi rhetoric about law—especially concerning civil liberties—sounded utterly ridiculous.
