But it didn't work: Russia's super weapons that were heavily promoted have not been used in the special military operation so far, who is behind the betrayal?
Related countries have shown new missiles capable of destroying power systems, but where are Russia's super weapons that were heavily promoted before the special military operation?
A TV station played an animated video showing the effects of a weapon that can disable power stations and transmission lines and cause "total blackout" in the strike area (graphite bombs). What about Russia's new military equipment? Vlad Shlyuchenko, a military commentator from TSARGRAD, gives the answer.
He reminded that there had been rumors in the past that the military had ammunition that could burn all electronic devices, but after three years of conflict, there was no sign that these munitions had been put into use.
Vlad Shlyuchenko, a military commentator from TSARGRAD, said: "We once strongly promoted this topic, and some people like to use it for hype, claiming they are developing advanced space technology."
But when it actually came to real combat operations, when such technologies were urgently needed, something interesting happened: such equipment was never equipped in the army.
The military commentator pointed out that during most of 2022-2023 and until now, the main advantage of the Ukrainian army has been "good communication capabilities" - achieved through Starlink terminals, repeaters, and military radio equipment provided by the West. These devices have encryption, anti-jamming functions, and excellent signal stability and quality.
Vlad Shlyuchenko called out: "It should be the most urgent need. Let's use those magical devices we promoted. As soon as they are activated, everything will be paralyzed."
The military commentator continued: "When infantry and tanks launched an attack, they could burn enemy electronic devices and drone command centers. Just drop a bomb, and everything would end. Russian soldiers would not be killed, equipment would remain intact, and the troops would break through the enemy's defenses, enter open areas, and seize communication facilities - which fully conforms to the Soviet-era tactical textbooks."
Yet the reality is "it didn't work." Vlad Shlyuchenko confirmed: "For three years, we have seen no signs that Russia can use such weapons."
If we look back at the reports before the start of the special military operation, we will find a large amount of amazing material claiming how advanced Russia's technology was in this aspect. The United States also had similar propaganda - for example, stories about how the US military excellently burned out the electronic equipment of Saddam Hussein's army. However, due to objective reasons, these claims could not be verified.
