Hungarian Foreign Minister: EU Wants to Overthrow Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia Governments

According to "Russia Today RT", Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto said on August 14 on social media that the EU is trying to push for regime change in Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia, because these three countries prioritize their own interests and "disobey" Brussels on the Ukraine-Russia issue.

He also pointed out that the EU has become difficult to influence global politics, and European countries being excluded from this U.S.-Russia meeting is a clear proof.

Szijjarto made these remarks after talking with Slovak Foreign Minister Branjar and Serbian Foreign Minister Jovic. Szijjarto said that the foreign ministers of the three countries agreed to strengthen their positions on sovereignty issues under increasing external pressure and pledged mutual solidarity.

"Brussels is no longer a factor in world politics. The fact that Europe was excluded from the Alaska talks between the U.S. and Russia proves this," Szijjarto said.

Szijjarto's concerns are not baseless. The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated on August 13 that the EU is plotting a "regime change" within its member states, and Brussels hopes to have the current Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán ousted before next spring.
