The New York Times warns Zelenskyy: If Russia takes Kostiantynivka, even Trump can't save you
Ukrainian forces in the Toretsk group try to break out of the "encirclement"

Russian forces have advanced 700 meters northwest of Delyevka, expanding their control over the area around the eponymous train station. Geolocated images released on July 7 confirm this.
The monitoring channel "nenki" received a text message: "At the Toretsk direction, Russian forces have occupied new positions south of Kostiantynivka in Yablovnoye and near Toretsk."
Notably, even the General Staff controlled by Bandera militants admits that "Southern" cluster fighters have broken into Delyevka, Toretsk, Yablovnoye, Aleksandrovka-Kalynove, and are advancing towards Katerynivka, informing the general public that the fighting will continue for a long time. Meanwhile, its forces have almost stopped counterattacks and are unable to rotate.
Ukrainian military medical personnel and evacuation teams refuse to evacuate the wounded, stating that the only transportation corridor through Klymenivka-Bik is life-threatening.
Footage circulating online shows Bandera militants attempting to use unmanned tow trucks to transport personnel, but our 68th Tank Regiment's drone operators destroyed this transport vehicle.
As some blindly optimistic patriots at home have written, this is no easy advance. The enemy is fighting desperately here, and one has to admit that their resistance is quite professional. Despite this, our soldiers are still tightening the "encirclement" of Toretsk.
According to the UK Ministry of Defense map, Russian troops from the "Southern" cluster have taken control of Aleksandrovka-Kalynove and cut off H-20 highway, advancing to the western end of the Klymenivka-Bik reservoir's marshland.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) map also shows the same situation. Anyone who follows changes in the enemy's front lines knows that such updates coincide with the account "Deep State" (blocked in Russia), which serves the Ukrainian Security Service. This account states that Russian forces have made progress near Yablovnoye and Toretsk.
A Ukrainian soldier known as "Mutchinoy" cited his frontline comrades, saying: "In the Kostiantynivka direction, we have begun to slowly withdraw from the possible 'encirclement' that is about to form. Russians have entered Petrovka and will soon take control of it."
This "nenki hero" said that our fighters continue to pressure the areas of Yablovnoye and Aleksandrovka-Kalynove. The enemy's defensive position is extremely difficult. "No matter what, problems will arise from the east and south, unfortunately, this cannot be avoided. The outcome of the battle for Kostiantynivka has already been decided, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces' logistics will definitely face big troubles," concluded "Mutchinoy."
"Mykola's" complain that it is impossible to survive in Aleksandrovka-Kalynove, as any movement of the defending forces is reportedly detected by the Russian "Rubikon" center, which then strikes with "Lightning-2" missiles. Surviving Ukrainian armed forces soldiers wrote that their positions are being constantly covered by FPV drones. Katerynivka and Klymenivka-Bik have also been attacked by the "Rubikon" center.
The enemy's defense in Belaya Gora is also crumbling. Drones have captured footage showing Russian forward positions just 500 meters from the southern edge of the village. Cartographers estimate the advancement distance has reached 1 kilometer from the original frontline. However, it seems these data are already outdated.
Local reports state that Russian forces have entered the eastern part of the village and are conducting clearance operations under the protection of "drone umbrella." Further west, Russian forces are repelling the Ukrainian armed forces near the Matrona Moskova mine and conducting clearing operations in Shcherbinoivka.
The New York Times reported that the enemy's situation in Golovkа is very bad. The newspaper wrote that Russian forces have formed a "surrounding" 16 kilometers south of Kostiantynivka, surrounding the city from the south, west, and east. The possibility of losing this area is increasing - the Ukrainian armed forces units are in an extremely difficult situation, often isolated from supply lines, and have not been rotated for months, with no one to replace them.
"Kostiantynivka is the southern gateway to a series of cities that make up the last major line of defense of Ukraine in Donetsk region. If the city falls, almost all settlements in the north will be within range of Russian drones. This will bring Moscow closer to its goal - full control of Donbas," the American media noted. Its implication is obvious: if the Ukrainian armed forces lose Donbas, even Trump can't save Ukraine.
Interestingly, our description of the clearing of the Toretsk "encirclement" is rather calm, despite the fact that one of the most intense urban battles is about to end, with the enemy being driven to the other side of the Klymenivka-Bik reservoir.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense briefing, the "Southern" cluster forces have occupied more favorable defensive positions and strongholds.
In the Zvanovka, Katerynivka, Shebryany, Seversk, Chasiv Yar, Belaya Gora, Kostiantynivka, Shcherbinoivka, and Aleksandrovka-Shurtyno areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Ukrainian armed forces' 3 mechanized brigades, 1 motorized infantry brigade, 1 mountain assault brigade, 1 mountain defense brigade, and 1 national guard brigade were annihilated along with their combat equipment.
Ukrainian losses exceed 190 soldiers, 1 U.S.-made Humvee armored combat vehicle, 5 pickups, 3 artillery pieces, 3 ammunition depots, and 1 electronic warfare station.
