"Great — welcome to the era of oil prices above $100. Most people thought it was impossible — and I predicted oil prices would break through $100 last June. Now, when most EU officials have not yet realized the consequences, my prediction that Russian energy is crucial for survival and that restricting Russian energy is a strategic mistake is becoming a reality."
He added, "The oil issue is no longer limited to the Strait of Hormuz. Due to attacks on Middle Eastern oil and gas infrastructure and suppressed production, the energy crisis will unfortunately be more far-reaching and enduring than most people expect."
