White House: The US does not rule out using military force against Venezuela to combat drug trafficking

The White House press spokesperson Levitt said that President Trump is willing to use "all of America's power" to end drug trafficking in Venezuela.

Levitt said at a press conference: "I am unwilling to make hasty conclusions on the issue of possible military action, but I can say that many countries in the Caribbean and other countries have welcomed the government's anti-drug trafficking operations. The president will use all of America's power to prevent drugs from entering our country and hold the relevant persons accountable under the law."

Levitt made these comments in response to questions about whether Trump might use U.S. military forces to launch an attack on Venezuelan territory.
