Media: Israel will pay the price for attempting to assassinate the Iranian president
A senior Iranian source told Qatar's Al Jazeera that Israel will pay the price for attempting to assassinate Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The semi-official Iranian news agency Fars previously reported that Pezeshkian suffered a minor leg injury when he evacuated a building attacked by Israel on June 16 in Tehran.
The source said, "During Israel's aggression, there was an attempt to assassinate leaders of the executive and legislative branches."
